Learning to drive should not feel like an exam from day one. Our instructors are experienced, reliable and genuinely patient — the word that comes up again and again in our reviews. Every lesson is paced around you rather than a fixed script, in an automatic, with pick-up and drop-off included.
We teach automatic only, and that focus is deliberate. With no clutch to think about, most learners spend their first lessons watching the road rather than their feet — which is the part the test actually marks.
From a first-ever lesson at 16 to a senior driver assessment — every one taught by the same instructors, in the same automatic dual-control car you can hire for your test.
The simplest route to a licence for most learners, in a dual-control automatic.
For licensed drivers returning to the road after time away.
Structured lessons for new learners from 16, building logbook hours from day one.
Skills and confidence for driving safely after dark, plus your night logbook hours.
Saturday and Sunday lessons for learners who study or work through the week.
Patient instruction on Australian road rules for students and new arrivals.
Assessments and training for senior drivers, for continued safety and confidence.
Essential skills and a proactive mindset, plus 20 bonus logbook hours.
Hire our dual-control car for your test, with a warm-up lesson beforehand.
The same process every student follows, whether you are starting from scratch or finishing off your logbook.
Call or book online and pick a time that suits you. Lessons run from 7am, seven days a week, including after hours.
Personalised instruction with individual feedback after every drive, so you always know what to work on next.
We monitor when you are genuinely ready, help you book, and support you on the day — car included if you need it.
Licence in hand. We stay available for refresher lessons and advice well after you have passed.

Mainul Hassan from Auz Driving School has provided me with two training sessions for senior drivers. Despite having driven daily for over 60 years, I found the experience very positive. Mainul is very calm and experienced, and I highly recommend his service before taking a test.Posted on Google daliya jamesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have passed my driving test today. I thank my instructor mainul, the AUZ driving school. His patience and support was incredible. He adjusts his schedule and arrange learning sessions as per my convenience. He was always there to correct all my mistakes and taught the how to behave on the road. His passion and dedication as an instructor is noticeable. Also, the fees was very reasonable. I recommend AUZ driving school for all those who wants to learn driving and licence. He is not only teaching us to get the licence but also teaches for safe driving on the road. Thanks again AUZ school and Mainul.Posted on Google JewelryTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent driving instructor. It depends on your starting point and how quickly you build confidence. We teach the most practical route to a licence, but every student is different. As a guide, a learner with no previous experience usually needs around 25 lessons to be ready to drive safely and independently.
You must be at least 16 years old to apply for a learner licence in Australia. From there you build your supervised logbook hours before progressing to your P plates.
A standard lesson runs for one hour, and your instructor picks you up and drops you off. Many students choose a double-length session, which covers more ground and gets them test-ready faster. Minimum booking lengths vary by town.
Yes. You can hire our dual-control car for your test at an affordable rate. We also recommend a lesson immediately beforehand so you arrive warmed up, settled and confident.
No. We specialise in automatic instruction and teach exclusively in automatic dual-control vehicles.
One thing worth knowing before you book: if you pass your NSW driving test in an automatic, your licence is restricted to automatic vehicles. To drive a manual later you would need to pass a further test in one. If you specifically need a manual licence, tell us when you call and we will point you in the right direction rather than waste your time.
We run lessons seven days a week: Monday to Friday from 7am to 8pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 7am to 7pm. Early-morning and evening slots book out fastest, so it is worth calling ahead.
Dubbo, Wellington, Gilgandra, Narromine, Geurie, Wongarbon and Tomingley. Rates and minimum booking lengths vary by town because of travel time.
Yes. Your instructor will collect you from home, school, TAFE or your workplace, and drop you back afterwards.
Tell us where you are up to — first-ever lesson, logbook hours, or a test coming up — and we will book you into an automatic at a time that fits around you.
